When the time comes, I’ll stop and think about my personal goal of getting my weight down. It’s easy to get caught up in the thought of running and I’m not going to stop and think about my goal of building a new apartment. However, what I want to do is focus on building a new apartment and building it on my own.

I like building new apartments. I just hate doing it as an employee of a company. I mean, I get that you have to stay motivated and productive and I understand that you have to be on your A-game in the face of all the pressure, but the employee part of the equation makes me a little nervous. The fact is that I have a lot invested in my company.

Yes, you do have to stay motivated and productive. But so does every other employee. You also have to be responsible for your financial health. That means you need to be a good employee. You need to be able to handle all of the stress and have a positive attitude. Focus, focus, focus.

The truth is that most of us are working hard for our companies, but we don’t all have a personal plan for how we’re going to do it. So what we might do is we might work hard for two weeks, and then we might work hard for a month, and then we might work hard for a month, and then we might work hard for a month, but then you run out of steam.

How do you feel about the idea of a “focus” workout? People can’t seem to get enough of this. The truth is, a “focus” workout is basically a high-intensity workout that gets your heart rate up in the same manner as a run, swim, or bike ride. Sure you are. You are actually doing a workout, not a run, the bike ride, or whatever. Thats what the term “focus workout” refers to. It is meant to be like that.
