I was recently contacted by a woman who was looking for an altitude fitness partner to share her experience. Though she had never been to altitude before, she really enjoyed it and was looking for a few people to share that experience with. I was excited to help her, but I wasn’t sure if she was comfortable with the idea of training on the ground in a plane, so I asked her to do a few things to make her feel at ease.

After practicing her new technique for a bit, I brought her to a little cliff to help her get her balance and to remind her that she can do this. It was a good way to ease her into the experience.
She says that the technique works by keeping you at a certain altitude for certain amount of time. It can be fun to practice it in the woods, or when you’re out for a hike, but for her it was really fun to practice it in a sunny forest with a beautiful lake in the background.

You can compete in your own challenges and even choose challenges to compete against other players, or you can just play alone and take on a bunch of challenges that you’ve created to try to beat the best times. I have to tell you that this game is pretty hard to beat. Its challenge systems are so ridiculously difficult that youll want to play alone for months just to beat the times youve set. You really need to be ready for the challenge when you start playing.
Well, in this game, youll even get to play against other people to beat their times. To be able to do that, youll need to have a high enough fitness level. And you can only get that by using a high-end fitness tracker. It can be quite pricey (I recently bought a Garmin Forerunner 520x, for about $120). Of course, this helps if you happen to be a fitness freak like me.
